Inspired by a recent discussion in another thread.

The most common birth years that I've noticed on this forum are 1990, 1999 and my own birth year, 2002. It's pretty strange because I've always wondered why there are more 2002 borns than any other year in the 2000's. I mean, people born in 2000 are legal adults this year, you'd expect this site to have more people born in 2000.

Uhh, I wouldn't say 1990 is one if the most common. That was actually true back then, but today not much. Even though we have some well known members, they're not really active and only come by once a week or so.

Not really in the bold. Yeah, there are users here such as Mqg, ZeldaFan, Mwalker, GH, Zelek, Slim, Star Struck, and MIstaEazyMan (Eric), but that's not a lot. For people born in those two years, their prime active period would have been 3+ years ago.

There's a lot more 1996 borns than 1995 borns on here. In terms of active users, you have Zelek3, Slim95, Eazy-EMAN95, and Fearsword all born in 1995, and mqg96, ZeldaFan20, Lizardmatum, aja675, GH1996, and mwalker1996 all born in 1996.

In fact, I would actually say that 1996 is the third most common birth year on inthe00s.

It's impossible to know that. SeaCaptainMan97 was onto something when he said the most prevalent birth years on InThe00s are in a three year sequence: 1993, 1996, 1999, and 2002. But there's also a decent amount of 1995 and 1997 babies on here. 1994, not so much.

I'm not sure why there aren't many 2000 and 2001 babies on here. I mean Class of 2019 (born Late 2000 to Mid 2001) will be seniors in August and they really aren't young kids anymore.

Generally speaking, users usually join at ages 15, 16, 17, 18 at the minimum on here. We'll have more 2001-2003 babies joining these forums over the next 1-3 years.

And of course, 2004-2006 babies will be following them. Wobotnik is still the only 2004 baby on this forum. He's very active and well received. We already have two 2005 babies slipping by. I don't think they'll be here long term. They're only 12/13 now and they'll move on in a year or two, if not sooner.

I would have agreed if there were more than 5-10 users in those years. However, their high activity had peaked several years ago.

Also, there are more pre-1990 borns here then you think. Most of them are busy juggling career/family at this stage of their lives, but some still like to post periodically. About 10 years ago, this board was dominated by 1980s borns, but I'm surprised more aren't participating since its a good place to talk about nostalgic things for them, given that the pre-2000s boards have gradually tapered off in terms of meaningful threads, whereas the 2000s for awhile still has a lot of stuff to talk about that many didn't know.

2017 is when 2000's babies started joining here and the Personality Cafe generations forums in mass. In 2016, I believe there was a user born in 2003 with the screen name "Late 2000's kid" but that was pretty much it, though I could be wrong on that.

According to the active users on here, 2017 is the first true gen z year because you guys now carrying the torch on inthe00s and personalitycafe.

No. I was the youngest active member when I joined inthe00s in June last year. I had frequently visited this forum back in 2016 aswell.

Well last summer, but it was August when the 2000s babies explosion happen.

I was first posting here in 2004 when I was one of the youngest people posting here. Now there’s a few people posting here that were actually born in 2004!  :o

That's true. I would like to post everyday, but I'm just busy with trying to find a balance between work, personal life.....and some fun ;) Hopefully when I find that balance, I will be more active on this board.

Almost the same - I joined in April 2005. Been a regular poster for 13 years now! When I first joined there were loads older than me. Sadly a lot of the then regulars have stopped visiting.  :-\\
