Subject: When did you feel like your childhood ended?
Written By: Wobo on 03/25/18 at 1:06 am
Even though by facts your childhood ends at 11
When did you feel like your childhood ended before 11 or maybe after?
Well for me in early 2015 because that was when I started to be interactive with people online and making YouTube accounts.
(I'm not saying being in the internet determines when your childhood ends)
2014 was when my core childhood ended.

Definitely 2014. That was the year I turned 12, was in middle school, started puberty, and made an Instagram account. The last year with any childhood influences was 2015. 2016 was the start of my core teenage years.

When I entered 6th grade, but even more so when I was turning 12. By the time I was turning 13, it was clear I was a teenager and not a little kid anymore.

Yeah I would say 6th grade also.

When I was 13 going on 14.
When I started high school in late 2006. If not then definitely around my 14th birthday (early 2007). I could feel it in my raw thinking power, my brain was growing fast late 2006/early 2007 and a lot of things about the world started making sense. I also became a lot more independent because I could go out whenever I want without my parents lol.

It's weird that you mention 11 years old, as that is the age I was thinking. By age 11, I was in secondary school. I started going to parties and listening to music... rather than watching cartoons and playing with toys. I started getting into fashion too and chose my own clothes rather than they being chosen for me. ;D

My childhood ended when I turned 13 and began junior high in 2004. It really was the beginning of a new era, it seemed.

2009, when I started using YouTube, started middle school, and realized that all my peers were now cussing.

I used to think it ended after I became a teenager, but over the years I think it ended at 9-10 years old. By that time, I no longer played with toys or anything kid-related except those classic games. I started watching shows with mature content and began feeling attracted to the opposite gender. I never stopped playing video games or watching cartoons though since there's no age limit for that.

At 12 it was fading away, by 14 fully over.

I wanna say sometime during my teenage years. I mean, it gradually faded away; some aspects more than others.

Around when I started secondary school (2009, but actually a couple of years after that), since I didn't like that (although I also didn't like primary school, but I would have mostly spent childhood playing with toys or whatever).

By 2009, I started to not feel that much like a kid anymore.
By 2012, my childhood was completely over. It should make sense, considering that I turned thirteen that year.

2013 when I finally started secondary school, began to get out of my JB phase, stopped doing little kiddie stuff and started talking more to the boys.

My childhood ended when I was 11. It was when I started to be aroused so much and I started to see more adult things.

That was somewhat true. Although I did start to watch more adult-oriented shows than certain kids cartoons at the time.
