Subject: How do you remember old/new songs?
Written By: mxcrashxm on 06/29/17 at 10:20 am
I'm asking to know how do you all recall songs that you listen to? For me, I remember them by hearing the lyrics and the music itself. I know on the radio, the hosts would say the artist and the title; however, I would sometimes forget.
It took me a long time to find two old songs because I didn't remember the artist nor the title, but I did know some of the lyrics and the music.

Yeah, usually the lyrics, because it gets stuck in your head. :)

I know. They'll get stuck in your head so much that you will be repeating them even if the song is not on.

Think my heart has a storage system. Sometimes I can recall the words but even more so I recall the beat, rhythm or tune

You can't google a melody, but you can google lyrics, so it's usually the quirkiest lyric in a song that helps me identify it later if I want to hear it again.

That's what happens with me sometimes.

I may repeat the lyrics in my head or just google it instead.
