I like Y2K era futurism better, since it looks more realistic than 50s/60s futurism.

Y2K Futurism. I like the design styles of the late 1990s/early 2000s look better. I'm very nostalgic for the Y2K Aesthetic and would love for it to make a comeback once Early 2000's nostalgia is put in full swing by 2020-2023.
There are quite a lot of futurisms. Such as the Retro Futurism which is basically a 1980s futurism. There was the Italian futurism back in 1909. And a few more that I can't name from the top of my head.

You know what I like about the Y2K era, the movies that were set in the future. Sh*t like A.I (2001) was really cool towards the future scenes, even though it looked like an ice age.

The Jetsons paved the way for what the future would be like.

None of that looks like 50s/60s Futurism. Most of that stuff is what already existed by the 50s/60s.
Futurism is the ideal vision of the future. And by the mid 20th century most visions of the future included things like robots and crazy machinery. Along with a futuristic version of fashion and culture.

I also agree with midcentury futurism (and even early 20th century when it began) thanks to a much more optimistic, idealistic vision where the universe seems even wider and more convenient 21st century futurism has much more of that "we'll be servants to the machines" feel that gives you a feeling that man is below machine on the food chain.
