Pop-Up Video was a VH1 series that originally ran from 1996-2002. It made a brief return from 2011-2012.  In it many facts about the artists, songs and videos would come up in different bubbles.

I remember this, I watched it all the time. They would show facts about the band or artist, kind of what Music Choice does.

Yes... it was a very interesting concept!

The bubbles would even point to things in the video to give info about them. Lotsa fun. :)

Does anybody remember the weird "Pop-Up Brady" spin-off VH1 did with The Brady Bunch that aired on Nick-at-Nite back in the early '00s?

It's kind of odd that they would pick The Brady Bunch out of the blue like that more than 20 years after it went off the air. I guess it was part of the whole "'70s nostalgia" thing going on at the time.

I watched an episode or two of that short-lived revival as well. Kinda bummed that it couldn't go longer.

I liked it a lot.
