Australian and American elections held in the same year for the first time since 2004! If Labor wins the election, then the Australian PM and US president will change in the same year for the first time ever!

Steve Irwin death
I remember people talking about this non-stop. They said they watched his TV show, but I never did. He looked like a cool dude and I wanted to respect his death, but I was sick of hearing of him after a while. :-[

Me and my family were actually planning to go and see his show at Australia Zoo in late September that year so we were devastated when he died.
