Subject: 3rd generation vs 4th generation!

I moved it to this thread to get more of a reaction! ;D Also from a suggestion from Mqg I'm comparing two similar eras in gaming.
So guys I'm in a gaming mood today and want your guys thoughts on this subject? This might have been already done before, but so be it. Which generation did you guys think was better and has left a more long lasting legacy on the gaming industry, the 3rd generation or the 4th generation? The only console I've really played from either gen was the SEGA genesis, and it was AWESOME. Overall the 3rd gen saved the industry after the crash, and 4th gen took it to a WHOLE NOTHER level imo. So I'm going with 4th gen.

There's a unique old school challenge to 3rd generation video games, but 4th generation games are just more refined in general.

I prefer the 3rd generation of games and consoles such as The Nintendo Entertainment System.

I'm going with both. As a gamer, these generations were amazing in their own way; they both left a huge legacy that was seen in the future generations.
