Subject: Horror Films Today Vs Years Ago

Most Horror movies released now are cliqued and hardly watchable if at all. There were a few good ones in the 2000's and several in the 90's. But it's nothing compared to the 80's and late 70's when slasher films were on the rise.
Back then there was Jason Voorhees, Thomas Hewitt, Freddie Kruger and Michael Myers. Then half way through the next decade we were introduced to Billy Loomis and Stu Macher.
As a major fan of Horror movies I for one am disappointed with the present decade's releases.
