Which do you like better? And from which era (early, mid, late)? To me, it seems early 90s and late 00s makeup was similar (dark lips, fake lashes, a lot of mascara), and late 90s and early 00s makeup was the same. One massive difference I can tell between the 90s and 00s is 90s had brown lipstick, 00s didn't. Looking at pictures of my sister when she was in high school, she had a natural look to her makeup (though this could have been the rules of my mother) and she looks really pretty. That was in the early 2000s. I'm not sure honestly which decade I like on girls more, I like both...

I was looking up both of them on Google and its seems to me that the 90s makeup looked more natural than the 00s (especially late 00s).

Actually I think 2000s makeup is more natural than the 1990s. Here is Jennifer Aniston in 1995:

More emphasis on the lips in the 1990s and more emphasis on the eyes in the 2000s.

I understand your point. In the 1995 photo, the lips were plump while in the 2000 photo, the eyes were colored with eye shadow.
