Big Pimpin by Jay Z came out in 2000

I can't think of one, because I can basically remember if a song was released in the 90s or the early 2000s. It's probably a bit more difficult for those who were too young or not into music around 2000. As often discussed here, early 2000s music (especially 2000) sounds very late 90s, while however the late 90s are totally different from peak 90s music.

I swore that Calling All Angels by Train had come out in like 98-99, but it was out in 2003.
Also, there's some songs that straddle that 1999-2000 line. Like maybe they technically debuted in '99, but are viewed more as a Year 2000 song. Everything You Want by Vertical Horizon (a song I liked a lot) fit that bill.

What's so special about this issue? It's totally normal that songs, that are only one or two years old, seem still recent, even if they are technically from another decade. I also tend do mix up 1999 und 2000 songs, but that's probably not what this thread is about.
