Say what you will, but the 1981 hit Walking on Thin Ice by Yoko Ono is a dance classic. It was the last thing John Lennon worked on before his passing. Other than that, anything else Yoko did wasn't really all that good. When Lennon was shot, they were on their way back from the final reecording of the song. He was holding a tape of the final mix.

'Walking On Thin Ice' actually has a Bjorkesque quality. I enjoyed it.
The artist I think has no business singing is Kylie Minogue. She only got as far as she did in music due to 'Neighbours'.

Kylie Minogue is one of my favourite singers. I have nearly all of her albums, a bunch of 12" singles, and some rare albums only available through import. She is a good singer in my books!

And I thought he was awesome. He sounds great singing Queen songs and that is not something I say lightly. Most people can't and shouldn't try to cover Queen.

People like Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, Keith Richards...didn't have great singing voices, but they certainly were popular. Some (not me) might say they had no business singing.
And I loved Adam's version. Guess it is all a matter of taste.
I don't know who he is but he did a decent job with the song "Mad World" Not bad.

Eddie Murphy is a great singer. That song came from a comedy album, so it's not supposed to be taken seriously.
And you have to put atleast toilet paper in your butt, otherwise you'd get poop all over your underwear :P

Rodney Dangerfield was a comedian, this song is fun and he uses his comedy bits in this video.
I am a bit confused. The topic of this thread suggests singers who you think should not sing, but you say you like that song, which means you think Rodney should have sang it

Absolute garbage like this has 4 million views on youtube?
Just goes to show again that # of views on youtube means nothing. In fact the more views any recent song (last 10 years or so) has on youtube, the more it probably sucks, or the greater chance I will hate it.

We know that love is blind but I guess in John's case it is also deaf.

Totally deaf. I was wishing that someone would "accidentally" turn off the microphone.

Kylie Minogue is one of my favourite singers. I have nearly all of her albums, a bunch of 12" singles, and some rare albums only available through import. She is a good singer in my books!
She was in her 30's when she came out with Can't Get You Outta My Head and I liked the song. I don't know what she does now.

She's still releasing music, it's just not as popular outside of Europe and Australia.

I could look that up on YT to hear, I don't keep up with music so much these days.

I mean her screaming will have the audience go nuts and have them committed to a mental facility.

But it made no sense in the context of Warped's response. He is saying ignore her and she will go away, you don't have to slap her.

But slapping her would be violence against women, which is not cool. Just want to make sure you know that, because sometimes I am not sure ...

Ok, sorry of what I said, I guess you must've thought I took it as a violence thing but this was something about her screaming.
