This cannot be correct. I am a month younger than you and if I deduct 10089 days from my birthday (June 3, 1986) I get: October 19th, 1958.
This also makes sense, because shortly before I turned 27 last year (!), I was as old as my mother when she got me. And she was born in 1959. :)

Yes, that's exactly it. But it would not make you born in 1934. It would be 1934 today!

I'd say negative, but it honestly wouldn't have impacted the course of American history that much. The Cold War would have continued on, and all of the same challenges that faced Kennedy in real life would have basically confronted Nixon in the same way.

Hard to say, since not much is known about Lee Harvey Oswald's motive for killing JFK.

One could make the argument that having Nixon as President in 1962 could've prevented the missile crisis altogether. One of the key reasons that the Soviets decided to put the missiles in Cuba in the first place is because of their widely held view that JFK was inexperienced and "soft" in foreign affairs, particularly after his lackluster performance at the Vienna Summit early in his term. Nixon, on the other hand, had earned a reputation during his eight years as Ike's Vice President of being one of the more hardline anti-communist voices in the U.S. government. Many senior officials in the Kremlin thought he was something of a "kook", so i'm not sure if they would've had the guts to put the missiles in Cuba, for fear of what Nixon might do.

I do agree, though, that if the crisis had happened under Nixon, his response probably wouldn't have been that much different than JFK's.

Highly unlikely. Assuming Oswald acted alone, and that the assassination was a totally random event, a President Nixon would never have been in Dallas, Texas in the fall of '63 to get shot in the first place. Remember, the only reason JFK was there was to heal fissures between the liberal and conservative wings of the Texas Democratic Party leading up to the 1964 election. Republican Nixon would've had no reason to make such a trip.

OMG, I'm toward the end of Mad Men Season 3 and it's in late 1963 at the part where Goldwater takes over Rockefeller as Republican favourite and the Civil Rights movement is really ramping up, but Kennedy hasn't been assassinated yet. Such a fascinating time in history.
