Probably any year before 1980, which is the year I was born. Just to see what everything was like. But, if a time machine did exist I would surely go back to 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Only to relive some really great moments in my life. Also, I would go back to 1988...to change one moment and undo something that I did. *sigh* If only it were possible.

Yea, this topic is a bit more intriguing than we’ve really thought about…at least to me it is.

I’d pick 1992, I was young, halfway through college, cool car, really good music, smoking hot girlfriend,  smoking ((!) not cigarettes), decent $ in my pocket (well for a 21 yr old in college).  Sex, drugs and rock n’ roll… 8) :)

Great time to be alive, but…not sure if I should or should want to go through it again.  Not sure if I’d survive it.

Did some pretty dumb things (and got away with it, or didn’t suffer too much for my stupidity), and I would probably now, change a few things that I did, which would mean I’d miss meeting a lot of people I’m with now…learned a lot about myself from those years.

Why 1966 Al?


Because I feel that's when America peaked in terms of fashion and culture and industrial design. I love Mid Century Modern design, I love the cars from the mid 60's and I love the garage rock from that era. I think it would be awesome to buy or rent a brand new 1966 Impala and drive around listening to the Top 40 hits on AM radio. I'd love to go into a bar and light up a cigarette and have an ice cold Falstaff. Plus it would be really cool to see how many things haven't changed since then.

European royals were known for incest and intermarrying for one :-X :-X :-X.

Also, even royals of that time didn't have necessarily great or lavish lives. I don't exactly remember the phrase but I remember hearing that middle class Americans on average live a better life than a Medieval king....or something like that.

I like the middle ages but typically. Haha It can't be help. I like European middle age history/15, 1600s? I do like the prince and princess aspect behind it.

I have a thing for history before then. Egypt and Greece seem fascinating. Egypt just has a badass culture and Greece has addictive lore. Both civilizations has a mysterious affect.

Ultimately though, I would just go back to the 2000s.

I would also love to visit the Woodstock Era from The 1960's, It must've been fun to live the life of a hippy just enjoying yourself, getting crazy and listening to some good music.

Okay, let me rephrase what I said. I want to travel to the middle ages but live as part of a super rich non-incestuous family who are immune to all diseases and have proper toilets ;D

I would probably time travel back to 2006. That year feels very dated to me. I wish I could go back!!  :-[
