I think this question is impossible to answer because the music is in a constant from of change. From it's onset
rock and roll has evolved, it has branched out in many directions and with each generation it continues branch
out forming new styles and sounds. Rock and Roll, like the universe, has yet to reach it's full potential.

That's a very subjective question. Depends on what the individual thinks about rock and roll and what their favorite era is.
