Halloween II was a worthy follow up to the first one. I always enjoyed Part III as well, despite the bad rap it gets for being a completely different concept not having to do with Michael Myers. Take the "Halloween" out of the title and it's a really fun horror movie with little to complain about. The rest of the series was hit or miss after that.

Agree with the person that said Scream 2 was a good sequel, although the 3rd was meh and 4th was just decent.

I always loved Friday the 13th Part 2 more than the first one. The first 4 Fridays are in a class above the rest in my opinion.

I like Halloween III too I just don't think it qualifies as a sequel.  Personally I hated 2 but liked H20.... I don't remember how I felt about 4, 5 or the rest in between.


I agree that Friday the 13th Pt 2 is good.  I also really liked 7! (it's the sleeping bag to the tree that gets me in that flick!  :D )

Karen Allen as Marion Ravenwood was a good match for Indy.  I didn't like the way they paired him up with Willie (Kate Capshaw) the airhead in Temple of Doom. 

Rocky II was good.

Halloween 3 is alright. I don't love it, but I do like it. Halloween fans and Michael Myers fans hate it though.

I would have to agree with Die Hard 2. A solid sequel!

What really sucked about the 4th one is the character of Marv returned, but instead of Daniel Stern, it was French Stewart.  Stern had the goofiness, but also had viciousness.  French Stewart will always be Harry from 3rd Rock From the Sun and essentially plays that character in EVERY movie he is in

Of the Alien & Predator films...
Aliens is one of my favorite films.  I like it a bit more than Alien.  Alien 3 and Alien: Resurrection are okay.  Predator 2 is better than Predator.  I'm one of few people that actually likes Alien VS. Predator, probably because Paul W.S. Anderson directed it.  Alien VS. Predator: Requem wasn't as good.  I actually like AVP much more than Alien 3 & 4 though.  I liked Prometheus, even though it is not really a prequel as originally planned.

2 was great but I didn't care for 3 or 4 and am not watching 5.


I thought 3 was great, 4 to me was so terribly over the top that it wasn't funny. And part 5 I walked out of the theatre after fifteen minutes. ;D

So I only like the first 3!
