Subject: General Hospital turns 50

Today is the 50th anniversary for the ABC Soap General Hospital.

On April 12th I will be attending a celebration at the Paley Center!

Can't Wait...

I miss my core GH writers but I love the show and love that they have been bringing back virtually every major character from the last 30 yrs!

I'm a big Cassadine fan, so I'm happy that some of them are returning :)
Brenda is my second choice for Sonny and Jax is my second choice for Carly. Actually I currently prefer her with Jax!

Oh man, I bawled my eyes out with that one.

Some of my favs are:

-The Nurses' Ball (still have a bunch of tee shirts & pins from it.)

-The fights at the Q's. (Monica: "It's MY house" Alan: "That I bought you." )

Actually, I started like Port Charles better than GH but after ABC canceled PC, I stopped watching GH (and OLTL).

SkilketHead!!! I saw some retro GH during a marathon on SoapNet and foster was in the ep..... Even tho Luke wasn't in that scene I yelled its skillet head!!! ;D

Loved the thanksgiving eps at the Q'S and they always ended with pizza ;D

Hated Lucy Coe and that damn duck tho ;D

BTW- I don't see credit for this on my phone but I reported this good I found in The Onion Field to imdb.

When Jimmy is seen watching television at Greg's house he is watching "General Hospital". This scene takes place in early March 1963 while "General Hospital" debuted April 1, 1963.

I should check the full website when I get to work and see if I'm given credit for it 8)

I am sick my pic with Geie Francis didn't come out. The friend I took is new to these events and didn't figure out how to hold the camera steady and check the pic before letting us break. As a general rule a good photo partner will notice a bad pic and stall for the second pic.

So Finola Hughes lives in Santa Barbara....and what a coincidence so do I...

Anyway I've never run into her before but she directed her first film and it premiered in town so I decided to go. She remembered me from somewhere and I told her wed just met last Friday at the GH event in Beverly Hills.

Bradford Anderson and Laura wright (Spinelli and Carly) were there!

There's another screening tomorrow. Wish I could go see what GH stars show up but I won't be in town. :-(
