Inspired by the saddest movie endings~
What are the most moving/sad/happy/inspiring/meaningful moments in movies that you recall?
Glory-when the fighting 54th Mass are marching off to fight their doomed attack on Ft Wagner. This one always makes me cry.

E.T. is high on my list.
There is a wonderful touching moment in Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, but I do not wish to reveal it.

I often get laughed at for this one, but in the film 'Con Air', when Nicolas Cage sees his daughter for the first time, and all he has for her is a beaten up stuffed bunny rabbit.

Oh man, there's so many touching movie moments that I can think of! The first one that immediately comes to mind that I remember watching as a little kid is Mufasa's death in The Lion King. Simba's reaction, the music... Still tears me up nearly 20 years later. :\'(
