Why do you think blue is so popular? Constantly, it tops lists for favorite color across the world. Do you think there are cultural or psychological reasons for this? Because, it's not even close.
For what it's worth, I like blue, but my favorite is the exact opposite - orange.

That's kind of interesting, that so many people like the same color. My guess is it is probably psychological because there are many shades of blue. I like blue sometimes...depends on my mood.

I specifically love teal, not just plain blue.
There are many shades of blue though so it is probably why it is so popular.

Because blue is associated in Christianity generally and Catholicism in particular, with the Virgin Mary.

Blue is one of my three favorite colors (it's a toss-up with purple and I also like magenta/fuschia).
I think my favorite shades of blue are turquoise and sky-blue.
I like it because I find it calming yet it's not too drab because there are so many shades to choose from. Plus I also have blue eyes so I think wearing blue makes them even bluer!
