I wouldn't have guessed that about Martin Gore. I do know from genealogy research that one of my great great grandfathers was black, but my family assumes my great grandfather (his son) was adopted.

I have a friend who is Swedish ( blonde hair, blue eyes) and is Jewish. The best man at my wedding is Jewish, he's from Morocco, his parents have been there for centuries, not quite as dark at the gentleman in the photo.
With Jewish people were scattered all over Europe and Africa (they didn't have a country until 1948), I don't think you can "look Jewish"  ::) It's something Archie Bunker might say though.  :-\\
If my friend were here and was told "Hey, you look Jewish", he'd be pretty pissed off. I know him and his family well, they'd consider it a racist remark.  :-\\
