What TV shows did you watch as a child and got you thinking.."I wish I were adopted into this TV family"
Either because your own family was screwed up, or you liked the TV parents, the TV kids, or just a general feeling you wish you belonged to that TV family instead of your own?

I felt that way about "The Brady Bunch" and "The Waltons".  I wished I were adoipted by either one of those families.

To a lesser extent, I also felt the same way about being another "Davis" kid in "Family Affair".

If I were younger I would have liked to be one of the kids in "The Cosby Show"

Definetly ALF - so the Tanners to be exact.

I didn't want to be adopted but I totally wanted to attend wasteland school for girls!

Maybe I wouldn't have minded being adopted by Merrill Stubbing  :D I would've hated having Vickie as a sister but I'd love living on the Pacific Princess.

I think as a young kid I was jealous of Dodie on My Three Sons because she was truly the gem in her family. They doted on her annoying ass  ;D

I kinda wanted to hang out with Eddie and Joey (Courtship of Eddie's father) because when she wasn't bearing him up they seemed like good friends.

I wanted to be in The Hogan Family.  Aunt Sandy was so cool!

I'd just like to point out that Barry (Williams?) who was an actor for The Brady Bunch is awesome.

Otherwise, I sometimes wished I could live as a Springfield resident in The Simpsons

also....if I won the lotto  (like big time lotto money) I would buy the bldg that was used for the Charlie's Angels exteriors and convert the interior to my living quarters... I'd seriously consider making the living room an exact reproduction of the Townsend Investigations office!  8)

I felt the same way but only with Anthony Blake from the Magician (played by Bill Bixby of course  ;) ). His pad was an airplane! It was called "The Spirit". And he drove around in a vette. Needless to say, I was also in love with vettes since then.

We used to always play the Addams Family (since we had a big family). By brother was Gomez, my oldest sister was Morticia, one sister was Uncle Fester, another one was Cousin Itt, "Dawg" was Pugley and being the youngest, I was Wednesday. We did the same thing with the Brady Bunch. I was Cindy.

If we played the Brady Bunch, I'd be Peter for sure.  (oh...but I couldn't be Peter...coz I had a crush on Marsha....but Greg had a crush on Marsha..I could be Greg...but it was really Barry having a crush on Maureen. Who could I be...maybe big man on campus? Captain of the football team?  but Marsha dumped him....so that's no good. I guess I have to be Davey Jones or Desi Arnaz Jr.)
