Subject: What colours do you associate with the fashion of certain decades?

I think of the 70s as orange, 80s as being pink, the 90s black, the 00s white and the 10s cyan. I think those colours 'dominated' the fashion and design of each of those decades more than any other one colour.

60s: baby pink, black & white
70s: orange, brown, purple
80s: shocking pink/toxic green/black (often combined)
90s: black
00s: many shades of pink (almost every year, there was another shade of pink in fashion), pool table green, blue green (especially the middle of the decade) --> difficult decade when it comes to this topic, though
10s: nude colors, pale blue (for jeans)

I associate colors with decades (actually, numbers in general) but this is due more to the fact that I have some mild color-syntax synaesthesia.
1 = black
2 = yellow
3 = blue
4 = green
5 = peach-ish
6 = orange
7 = red
8 = yellow
9 = brown
0 = white
Therefore, the 70s are red, 80s are yellow, 90s are brown, etc. Or a specific year such as 1994 would look like "black-brown-brown-green" in my mind.
The months and days of the week also each have their own color in my mind :D

My sister has synesthesia too. It impacts why she likes or dislikes letters or numbers. For me, it's all visual appeal.

'70s - yellow, brown, orange
'80s - pink, light blue
'90s - black, lime green for late '90s
'00s - platinum, white, burgundy
'10s - purple?

20s: white, black, red, peach
30s: beige, taupe shades
40s: brown, burgundy, red
50s: mint, peach, pale pink, black
60s: red, yellow, orange, black
70s: brown, burgundy, burnt orange, yellow, chartreuse
80s: neon colors, black, turquoise, aqua, peach, white, grey, black, grape purple, navy blue, periwinkle blue
90s: brown, burgundy, black, eggplant purple, grey
00s: purple, cobalt blue, jewel tones, black
10s: too early but pastels seem popular
