Subject: Movie Trilogies, not related through plot/characters
Written By: whistledog on 08/14/12 at 10:44 pm
You know how they put out those film sets that have like 3 movies all starring the same actor, but are not related through plot or characters? I got thinking what if they did that and dubbed it an actor trology (or film series) where it's not related by plot or characters. Some examples:
The Arnold Schwarzenegger / Bill Paxton Trilogy
The Terminator (1984)
Commando (1985)
True Lies (1995)
The DMX / Anthony Anderson Trilogy
Romeo Must Die (2000)
Exit Wounds (2001)
Cradle 2 the Grave (2003)
The Matt Dillon / Diane Lane Trilogy
The Outsiders (1983)
Rumble Fish (1983)
The Big Town (1987)
What are some others?

I wouldn't call them Trilogies... I think of them as Triple Features....
I have this one
Nicholas Cage Triple Feature Peggy Sue Got Married / Guarding Tess / It Could Happen to You
