What's your favorite game show? Have you ever been on a game show? Ever won anything?

Oh, I love game shows! To name some:
The Price is Right
Wheel of Fortune
Jeopardy
Cash Cab
Card Sharks
Password
Press Your Luck
I've never been on a game show, though sometimes I get on a roll with Jeopardy and Cash Cab answers and yell at the people on the TV that I could do better :D.

Cash Cab!! Love that show especially the host Ben Bailey. ;)
Last time I was in New York, we took a taxi, it was a yellow Toyota van. I was hoping I'd see Ben behind the wheel, sadly it wasn't him.

My aunt went on TPIR and won the showcase showdown! No joke! And she is awesome and so nice so I love that she won.
I have never been on a game show. I think Jeopardy is probably my favorite. I really like Match Game and Wheel of Fortune too.

Don't watch game shows anymore, but we used to watch Concentration and the Newlywed Game when I was a kid. Sometime later I liked Jeopardy, Card Sharks and the one with the whammies. Dad liked Hollywood Squares and he told me he was in the studio audience once. I've always thought Hollywood Squares was boring. Best thing about it was Paul Lynde. Wheel of Fortune was boring, too...
I did watch TV Powww because it was such a novel idea, but kids calling into that show really needed to slow the hell down with their "pows"... :P
Anybody remember Dialing For Dollars, or was that just a local thing? Pat McCormick hosted...I think it was KTVU...

Ah, Press Your Luck, arguably the only game show ever to be beaten fair-and-square.

Only through GSN reruns, but I was around for the 80s revival (1981-1982). I remember male contestants were now allowed, and they all had balloons that would pop. Treasure Hunt had Clunks. Let's Make a Deal has Zoinks. Sounds like an episode of "Scooby Doo"

There was a show in the UK called Treasure Hunt, but not the same format at all. The UK show had a couple solving clues to find various locations in the UK and Anneka RIce would fly there in a helicopter and running aorund trying to locate the next clue. I don't even recall what the final prize was!

Anyone remember Supermarket Sweep? Contestants would go through a store and find products that were requested to win prizes. There were also some quiz questions in it.

Never been on one, but when I was growing up I often wanted to.
However, I do know a couple people who've been on one. In 1997, two staff members from my high school went on Wheel Of Fortune and won lots of cash and prizes during "Best Friends Week", which aired during Thanksgiving week that year. These two people, one of them was a school counselor and the other one was a physical education teacher, but both were athletically involved, as one was the drill team coach and the other was the cheerleading coach. When I went back to school the following week, I made sure to congratulate them. :)

Game Shows are still around. The Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! are still around, and the new versions of Let's Make A Deal and Match Game are still on.
There is a new one called Celebrity Name Game hosted by Craig Ferguson that I think is fixed. There is no way contestants can be that dumb. The one lady thought the first name of former US President Nixon was Bob. Really??? No one can be that dumb!
