If anyone has seen the "Icthy, Scratchy, and Poochie" Simpsons episode that appeard in the late 90's, Comic Book Guy debates with Bart Simpson on the episode. Here is the transcript of the scene:
Bart: Hey, I know it wasn't great, but what right do you have to complain?
Comic Book Guy: As a loyal viewer, I feel they owe me.
Bart: What? They're giving you thousands of hours of entertainment for free. What could they possibly owe you? I mean, if anything, you owe them!
Comic Book Guy: Worst episode ever.
Is there any flaws to this? Can this be applied to whatever movie, music, tv show, etc..we bash here?

We don't really watch TV for free as we pay subscription costs to cable companies unless you watch on a Freeview digibox/installed within the TV. However, people in the UK have to pay a TV licence (about £140 ($250?) a year this time around) on top of that so that BBC 1 and 2 don't have to show adverts (commercials). So technically, no we aren't watching for free, lol.

You STILL have to pay a TV license fee? What kind of a socialist nightmare is that? Oh well, at least you can go to the doctor when you get sick.

It's more a greed nightmare than anything else.
In the last few years, people in the UK have been kicking off about it's lack of value, especially as recent revelations unfolded regarding the BBC's misuse of our money. I was gobsmacked when I heard here a few years ago that Americans don't pay a TV licence...Another reason of many to emigrate, lol.
As for the doctor situation, it is a good deal if you are unemployed as everything is free (including the dentist providing you can find a decent one on the NHS). If you are employed you pay for these services via the National Insurance tax on top of Income Tax so visiting the doctor isn't really as free as it appears and we have to pay for our prescriptions.
Comic Book Guy is cool, I'm surprised he got more airtime on The Simpsons Movie than Groundskeeper Willie.

Lower taxes and no television license, and if you're rich, oh boy, America treats its rich people really nice! Their only complaint is they don't get treated even nicer, so the politicians do their best to accommodate!
