That's a tough one as Swift has done little (but what she has done is big) ...and Dane was interesting without being great. I'll go with Swift... :-\\

Now, Taylor Dayne, who's pretty much the hottest pop singer in the '80's and has a great voice

not sure how we can compare singers that are good 20 years apart, but I like Taylor Dayne, she rocks. I like her songs from the 80's and she wore ripped jeans so that's a bonus.
there's not anything about Taylor Swift that I like. :-\\

That was my concern as well. Two different styles of music, 20 years apart. It's like comparing Apples and Oranges.
I do still like Taylor Dayne. I have two copies of her 'Tell it to My Heart' album ..

I don't want to sound stupid, but is Taylor Dane White, or is she bi-racial? I can't tell. She has an exoctic look to her and I'm curious. Thanks. :)

Taylor Dayne. She's a better vocalist IMO. "Tell It To My Heart" was one of the hottest dance tracks of 1987. My fave by her is "I'll Be Your Shelter".
