This month the boys of the Budokan release their new album, The Latest, not only in CD and vinyl, but in a long-departed format as fashionable as Tang, bell-bottoms and porn-star mustaches.
Yup, they're going to release an 8-track version of their latest album. The price is supposed to be around $30, which at that price I doubt anyone will risk playing it and have it break in their 30 year old deck.

I'll be surprised if they release it in an Edison-style phonograph cylinder. :P

Hell, I can get a copy of Budokan on 8-Track for 50c at a Flea Market. Realistically though, what moron would pay $30 for any 8-Track tape? :D

the most expensive 8-track sale was I believe a copy of the Sex Pistol's Never Mind the Bollocks, which sold for $80...
my copy of Al Stewart's "Time Passages" I had signed back in March is my own priceless 8-track...
