Subject: What Part(s) Would You Love to Play?
Written By: CatwomanofV on 10/05/06 at 10:34 am
Regardless of you are "qualified" to play the part or not, what parts would love to play?
The problem I have with most of these parts is the fact that my singing voice is not the best. But I can still dream.
The Girl-The Fantastics (This was mainly when I was younger but I was NEVER a Soprano. I'm a 2nd Alto)
Hodel-Fiddler on the Roof (Another one when I was younger.)
Eldonza-Man of LaMancha
Evita-Evita (but again, I KNOW my voice couldn't hack it)
John Adams-1776 (Well, the obvious problem here. :-\\ )
Dolly-Hello Dolly
Lola-Damned Yankees
I'm sure there are many more.
Anyone else?

I have always wanted to play Rizzo or Sandy from Grease.
Likewise, my voice wouldn't do either part justice, and Sandy will have gained a few pounds!!! 8) ;D
Grease is the word!
Great Idea Cat! 8)

Oh, yeah, Rizzo. I knew there were more (and I'm sure others will follow).

Hawk, the Slayer's Top 10 Parts He'd Love To Play In Musicals:
10. The Rum Tum Tugger (Cats)- I've always wanted to be seen as some sort of sex symbol...
9. The Scarlet Pimpernel (Same Title)- I LOVE historical pieces!
8. The Pinball Wizard (Tommy)- I love pinball, and I'm sorry, but Elton John? C'mawnnn!
7. Growltiger (Cats)- Pirates meet felines...Hmmm.....(Don't let Step-chan see this posting!)
6. Uncle Ernie (Tommy)- Strange, but I think I could pull it off!
5. The Ace Face (Quadrophenia)- May not be as cool as Billy Idol, but I think I'd've made an excellent Mod!
4. The Phantom (Phantom Of the Opera)- The tragic composer, whose love was unrequitted...classic!
3. Audrey II (Little Shop Of Horrors)- I tried for it once. Got stuck as Mushnik...got miffed...left the cast.
2. Riff Raff (Rocky Horror)- Played Riffie in "live" casts, but never on a real stage!
AND! Hawk's Most Prized Position In Musicals:
1. Any Major Sex Symbol On Broadway (Hey- what's wrong with a heavier man?)
