I've got Netflix and Hulu, as well as the utterly useless Amazon Prime (which I only have because it comes along with the other Prime services), but the one I watch by far, far more than any of those is the FREE streaming service Tubi. I love it, I can't recommend it highly enough. It has such a wide variety of things, some of them very esoteric and interesting. If you can stand a small handful of commercials (which is how it's free), I strongly suggest it. Most of the content is not NEW, but I prefer the older stuff anyway. It can be downloaded onto any smart TV in a matter of seconds.

I've got Netflix and Crackle and once in a while I might want to watch a film or an old school sitcom on Crackle when I'm in the mood and they have a pretty good variety.

James signed up to Netflix so he and his girlfriend can watch shows at the same time. I think she has got him into Sherlock.
In the U.K. most of the main tv channels have their own catch up service so if I want to watch something different I have a look there. The easiest to use in BBC iplayer and I am currently rewatching Life On Mars.

Is that the show that had a scene where a guy goes back in time and at one point encounters Marc Bolan and tells him to avoid riding in minis? They were showing that on PBS for a while here in the US. Interesting scene, but the guy who played Bolan looked and acted NOTHING like him. Just because they throw a curly wig and a feather boa on someone it doesn't make them Bolan. They could have done better.

This is the first time I've heard of "tubi". Thanks for the tip - will give it a try! :)
We don't have any streaming services but are interested so we recently signed up for a trial of Amazon Prime. So far after 2 weeks, feelings are mixed.

Amazon Prime is horrible. I have no use for it. I only have it because it comes along with the other Prime services like free shipping, etc. I can't believe it's a pay service that makes you pay AGAIN for most things when you want to watch something! It's like boxes inside of boxes, all that need to be unlocked. And a lot of the free stuff on there is on Tubi also, which is free across the board. Tubi also has a decent selection of concerts by artists from the "classic era". Even one by Donovan, which was very good.

I have it because of the free shipping-since I buy A LOT from Amazon. :-[
Not a channel we watch too much. We watched the first season of Mozart in the Jungle which I liked-Hubby didn't really which is why we didn't go on to season 2. Right now we are watching The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel which we have only watched two eps so far.

Same. Although, since I have Amazon Prime, I might have Prime Video. I have never used it though.

My friend of mine has a one on which live football can be watched on, but at the moment it does not seem worth it.

I was thinking of getting one that would have all the cycling races but it was eye wateringly expensive.
