I just read through a recently necromanced thread here and noticed some members who have tens of thousands of posts and then just vanished.
Since this is a nostalgia board I thought I might dedicate a new thread to members who used to be very active here but have vanished.

I start with snozberries (http://www.inthe00s.com/index.php?action=profile;u=3662)... I thought it was a cool sounding name until I looked up what it actually means.... :-[

Almost 73.000 posts and active for more than 10 years and then just dropped off the radar without warning.

Feel free to add your "missing" people.

Yes. I'm still in touch with him on Facebook, as are a number of members here who are also on there.

Yeah, it makes you wonder where they went, and why they're not coming here anymore. There are several other notable members on here, some of whom have four- or even five-digit post counts, but have been missing in action for years.

Ok, I'll start with Ktelqueen; she was here just about every day from mid 2004 through late 2006... but in the last 12 years she seems to have just vanished from here (even though her account still exists). She was lotsa fun; posted a lot of quizzes and had some great late-night posting sessions in PBG.

Chances are that if she'd been even half that active during the past twelve years, she'd probably have a six-figure post count, just like Philip and I do.

Her account still exists; she pops in now and then, but never posts anymore. :-\\ She was great to interact with on here.

RockAndRollFan turned out to be a real sleaze bucket. He would basically be stalking women via PMs. It was because of him Chucky installed the "report PM" feature. He TRIED to come back but when we figured out who he was, he was zapped again.


As for Max, I am still in contact with him and we had our second mini-meet a couple of years ago.

Different. There was a completely different layout, different ranking names (such as "Royal Penguin"), and it wasn't powered by SMF. (That came along in April 2004, right after the old version crashed.)
