Subject: NBA Finals 2023

A little late now that the season is over, but the Denver Nuggets win the title as they defeated the Miami Heat in game 5. I watched the 4th quarter and it was intense. Miami almost came back and won with their 3 pointers and the 3 point free throw from the line. They also took a lead by one point within the last minute. Anyhow, I'm glad they won as I usually go for the underdogs, and this is their first championship in franchise history.

Even though the Nuggets swept my team, the Lakers, in the Western Conference Finals, I decided to root for the Nuggets after they took a series lead. Just so that I could see Jeopardy at the normal time again. (In the Los Angeles market, Jeopardy airs on the ABC affiliate.)
Anyways, congratz to the Nuggets. I had not realised that they had no previous titles in their franchise history.
