Subject: NFL Season 2013
Written By: warped on 09/10/13 at 9:55 am
Are you ready for some football? 8)
Week #1 in the books. Peyton Manning throws for 7 TDs :o
I watched a bit of the New England/Buffalo game. I think NE will really miss Wes Welker. I also watched some of the Giants/Cowboys game.
Adrian Peterson says he will break the NFL record for rushing yards in 1 season. When he went for a 78 yard TD on his first carry, I thought :o
But after that he got about 15 more yards for the rest of the game.
Who are you cheering for this year?

The NFL playoffs begin today.
Kansas city faces Indy and New Orleans plays Philadelphia.
Tomorrow San Fran plays against Green bay and San Diego plays against Cincinnati.
Denver, New England, Seattle and Carolina have a bye this week
Who are you cheering for?
Who's gonna win the whole thing?
Will it be a Denver/Seattle super bowl? (They are the top seeds)

So New Orleans beat Philadelphia, San Diego beat Cinci, San Fran just beat Green Bay and KC lost a tough one to Indy.
Next week's games:
NFC:
New Orleans at Seattle
San Fran at Carolina
AFC:
San Diego at Denver
Indy at New England
Most of the teams I like either missed the playoffs or lost today.
Be nice to see a first time winner of the Super Bowl.

I thought it might be these teams. Not a fan of either nor do I dislike either. I am not sure who to cheer for. But I've had enough of Omaha.

I'm surprised no one has done a pop or rap song yet with that repeated word.

Congrats to Seattle for winning the Super Bowl. Their swarming defense was all over the Denver offense.
First Super Bowl for Seattle ans first major championship for the city since the Supersonics of the NBA won in 1979 (The days of Dennis Johnson and Jack Sikma)

I was hoping today's weather had happened yesterday. For the past two weeks we were hovering around the
20 degree mark in the day with single digits at night. Superbowl weekend, it hits the 50 degree mark. The day
after we are hit with a half inch of rain followed by 8 inches of snow. Man I wanted it to be cold and snowy for
the Superbowl, maybe it would have made it a better game.
