Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is now considered likely to be arrested in the investigation of the death of a man described as his associate, according to a Sports Illustrated report.

Police plan to go back to the home of New England Patriot's tight end Aaron Hernandez today with another warrant based on evidence that "he destroyed his home security system,'' an investigator close to the case told ABC News.

The investigator, and other law enforcement sources, confirmed that the security system - which included video surveillance - was smashed intentionally.

And a cell phone used by Hernandez was handed over to investigators "in pieces'' by his attorneys, the sources said.

Police also want to know why a team of house cleaners were hired on Monday to scrub Hernandez's mansion, sources told ABC News.

I wonder if the cover up is more about hiding a domestic partnership than covering up evidence for a murdet?

Our news stated he's been involved with 2 other shootings since college, both basically have been swept under the rug for lack of evidence or people coming forward.

They are saying drug deal(marijuana) but that doesn't sound right.  They also say Hernandez and Odin Lloyd(the murdered guy) were dating the sisters.

Well you know damn well he was either directly involved or was there when the incident happened, why else would you destroy evidence (especially video) and hire cleaning service.

They say the guy, Odin Lloyd was killed "execution style" on his knees, back of the head. 

And Aaron was arrested this morning.

Multiple reports said Hernandez, 23, was taken from his North Attleborough home in what appeared to be handcuffs at about 8:45 a.m. Eastern time.  Nine police officials showed up at Hernandez's door on Wednesday morning in five police cars, according to NFL Network. Hernandez answered the door and the police entered. Hernandez had a white shirt pulled over his arms, which were secured behind his back, and he was led into a police cruiser.

The charge is Murder 1.... No Bail, remanded to custody of Bristol County Jail

The victim, Lloyd Odin was shot 5 times execution style.

They found out that Hernandez had an apartment in a complex in Franklin Massachusetts,  a couple of towns over from his 2 million dollar house, with a friend named George.  He never talked to his neighbors and always kept his hoodie over his head when coming and going.  His next door neighbor didn't know who he was 'til she saw his picture on the internet.

In two court hearings this week, they laid out gritty details of the killing that was allegedly carried out by Hernandez and two other men, and said that bullets matching those used in the Lloyd killing were found in an apartment leased by Hernandez.

Wow.  :o      Glad they caught this guy and hope they (authorities) don't screw this up.  I wonder if the next thing we find out is that he knew the Tsarnaev's.

If you don't think the Aaron Hernandez story can get any weirder, wait a few minutes, and it will.

The Hartford Courant has a story that is sure to get imaginations running. Thaddeus Singleton III, an associate of Hernandez's who police wanted to talk to, died in a one-car accident. The report said the car shot through the air and hit the Farmington Country Club six feet off the ground. Hernandez is being held on a charge of first-degree murder, and police are also looking into any possible involvement the former New England Patriots tight end had in a 2012 double murder in Boston.

The Nissan Maxima in the accident involving Singleton was registered to Andres Valderrama, Hernandez's uncle. Singleton was married to Hernandez's cousin, the story said.

No matter whether this was a mere coincidental accident or not, the whole Hernandez plot is starting to seem like it came straight from "The Sopranos."
