At the end of the first day, Spain's Sergio Garcia leads the Open Championship at Carnoustie on six under par after a first-round 65.
Leaders:

-3 M Campbell, M Brier, A Cabrera, R McIlroy, Weekley
-2 KJ Choi, T Woods, S Cink, P Harrington, MA Jimenez

Garcia leads Ireland's Paul McGinley by two shots, while Northern Ireland amateur Rory McIlroy, 18, is in a group of five players on three under.
Michael Campbell, Markus Brier, Boo Weekley and US Open champion Angel Cabrera are the others.
Defending champion Tiger Woods is one shot back in a group that includes Ireland's Padraig Harrington.

Padraig Harrington pipped Sergio Garcia in a four-hole play-off to clinch the 136th Open Championship at Carnoustie after one of the most dramatic finishes in recent years.
