After more than 20 years of fantastic hockey 8) , Mariel Lemieux has decided to reture, after recent problems with his heart. He'll stay on as owner of the Penquins though. :)

40, I think? He's abused his body enough...

It's sad for Hockey that he is retiring. I honestly believe that had he not had so many injuries, he would have beat all of Gretzky's records easily

Mario Lemieux was a classy player and a thrill to watch. He probably wouldn't have touched Gretzky's assists record, but definitely would have had a shot at the goals.
