in the nhl this year theyve decided to take out every rule involving the red line!!! such as two line pass!!!
why are they trying to change any national sport!!!
Why would they do this too me?!?!?

I went to a Blues game last night and the new rules work.
For instance the trapezoid rule behind the goal, it creates a lot more offense.

I also heard they don't allow the goalies to stray as far from the goal anymore. I like that as well :)

Goalies can go where they want, except the 2 zones behind and to the right and left of the goal.

I think the new rules work very well. The new rules should lead to more scoring which should lead to some more excitement in the games which is something that can never hurt. Some of the old school people wont like it as the new rules will change the way the game is played a bit, but I tend to like the new rules.

Same here.
I noticed last night almost every game had at least 4-5 goals.
Then we had two 7-6 games and Atlanta won by about 8 or 9 didn't they?

Yeah Atlanta won 8-1 against Washington.
