Subject: Greatest Wrestler Still Has it...

Written By: LyricBoy on 03/08/05 at 7:26 pm

This evening I saw an interview on local TV of the great Bruno Sammartino, arguably the greatest wrestler of all time.

Ol' Bruno is now pushing 70 years old.  He said that he's had to "slow down" due to his hip replacement surgery, and has had to "cut back" his weight lifting.  :-\\

"I can only use dumbbells that are 100 pounds per arm these days," said Bruno.

HOLY @#$%^$# ! One Hundred pouinds PER ARM!  :o  They don't even have dumbbells that heavy in my gym.

If we are talkin about the best older wrestlers who are "still active" in competiton.....

Flair is still wrestling...but probably shouldn't be......
Undertaker (Mean mark) is gettin up there, and he is still a force to be reckoned with....
Shawn Michaels is probably the most agile of the "senior wrestlers".....
I've heard there are a bunch of "has beens" over in Mike Tenay's new wrestling organization..but I havent seen it yet.
Hogan could still wrestle if he wanted to...but they would stick to makin him wrestle guys like Flair.
Chris Benoit is also getting old fast...

After lookin at all these things...I'm gonna go with Shawn Michaels.....
although I miss the old days with Marty Janetty when they were "The Rockers"

flair is just retarded.  He is the best at fake falls and cheating.  Undertaker and Chris Benoit are still forces to be reckoned with.  They are still in excellant shape.  Shawn Michaels is still a desent wrestler, though he seems to keep getting injured a lot.

No way...Bruno Sammartino is THE wrestling ICON....When Hulkster hits his 70's and still has his strength and wrestling skills and stamina...then Hulk might be called the greatest....and Bruno did it without the help of STEROIDS...
