Tampa are looking real good right now. They will have at least a week to rest up before they meet the winner of the Leafs/Flyers slugfest.

Congratulations to Dave Andreychuk for finally getting into a Cup Finals. This should be an interesting year, considering that two low-payroll teams showed the hockey world what grit can do against money :)

Game 6 tonight could be a clincher! Tune in for some history in the making (sorta), since Canada hasn't won it all since 1993 and the TV ratings are in the dumps :D

I think it's amazing when you compare the two cities. When they showed the game from Tampa the other night they cut to shots of the Saddledome in Calgary where they are showing the game from a satellite feed. There were as many fans at the saddledome as there were in Tampa.
Canada is CUP CRAZY!

You wouldn't be saying that if the Leafs were in the Finals, hehe ;)

Don't even joke about that ;) Makes me sick just thinking about the possibility. I'll root for anyone in the league before I root for the Laughs :P

As of now six different Flames have points in the game, none named Iginla ;)
Richards had some goofy type goals!

I can't belive this. Tampa looked soooo tired after the first period.
What the hell was that cross checking penalty they called on Simon >:( He barely hits St. Louise and he goes down like a sack of dirt!
Enjoy it while you can Buttman because the Flames are gonna take game 7 and bring that Cup home.
I still believe that Bettman is working for the NBA and is ntentionally ruining the NHL ;)

Maybe they should move all the NHL teams up to Canada for people who actually appreciate them :P
Hey, did you guys see that "non-goal" that went off Gelinas' skate? That was interesting...

I almost got jumped because I was the only one who agreed that it wasn't conclusive. And after looking at all of the post game replays, I stand by it.

I agree with you actually. Gelinas didn't even argue, I guess the peeps on the ice didn't have enough time to figure it out.

Good for him he deserves it :) BTW who won the Conn Smyth? I couldn't bear to watch anymore after it was 2-0. I say it should have gone to Brad Richards.
I can't wait till Lecavalier comes home with the cup. My parents live about 5 minutes away from his families house. Gonna try and get a photo with it :)
Most definately the surprise of the year. All in all it was an amazing series. Too bad we might not have another next year :-\\

I am physically SICK! I cannot believe this happened....first they actually win game 6...that was a goal! Then, who in thier right mibnd (And he obviously wasn't) call a borderline penalty in a game SEVEN with less than 2 minutes to go! I almost feel as sick as if the deadthings won another one...but not quite :P

One of my friends told me that Andreychuk actually won the Smythe, which is weird because it should probably go to either Richards or St. Louis.

Probably won't see any NHL Hockey for quite a while....the greedy bastards must have thier strike. After all, they need more houses cars and jewlery.....sounds like I'm talking about most rap "Artists" doesn't it....ah, but then I'd need to add "Drugs" to the mix ::)

It's not a players strike. The owners are locking the players out. It's because of teams like the Rangers and the Blues that the NHL is in the mess it's in right now. They're just like Steinbrenner trying to buy a cup.

Tampa has a lower payroll than the Flames. They didn't steal anything.

A) That was very close to a kicked goal even though all Gelinas was doing was stopping and B) it was very inconclusive. Calgary had plenty of other chances, they just didn't capitalize.

Oh, and nobody on the ice even noticed it, and they blew the whistle already to face-off, so there was really nothing they could have done based on the rules.
