The sixties, primarily late sixties. Second would be the seventies.

I was gonna go for the 80's, but realisticly the 70's were way better. Planet of The Apes, Star Wars... they were way ahead of their time. I love late 70's tv movies too.

Had to go with 90s- those are movies I grew up with ya know.

I have to go with the 80s and could maybe throw early 90s in there. My favorite movie of all time "Glory" came out in 89'. Late 90s and 2000s are the worst. It seems most of the movies today are unorginial or they are either remakes, sequals, or based off videos games. Though "Sin City" was pretty unique.

I chose the 1980's...but I do enjoy watching old B&W movies from the 20's and 30's. :)

Remember, the 2000's have Spiderman, Batman Begins, the Lord of the Rings Trilogy... more good movies than you'd think.
I voted the 90s though.

My two favorite decades for movies are the 70's and the 80's because they may be bad ,but they were creative :D , but if I were to choose which one i like ,it's the 70's

yeah the pink panther stuff is hysterical. but dr. strangelove and being there are the two that made me realize he was really a genius.

Have you seen Peter Sellers in Lolita (another Stanley Kubrick film)?

yes! i have that! i saw it in the theater once, believe it or not. it was at the AFI, film museum type place around here. i love it, i wish he'd worked with kubrick more. i was so bummed when he passed away, peter sellers. kubrick too.

I know of the American Film Institute, for we have the same here but it is the British Film Institute and its cinema the National Film Theatre, and that is where I saw most of the Peter Sellers, especially the rarer ones, that are not shown on television.
