Subject: Favorite Holiday TV Specials
Written By: eightiesfan on 11/22/04 at 9:51 am
These are all so good, it's hard to decide, but I would go with "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" as my top pick (I like that song
"Mr Grinch" that is sung by the same guy who does the voice of Tony the Tiger). I also like "Mickey's Christmas Carol", being a major Disney fanatic.
Out of the Rankin-Bass specials, I like "Frosty the Snowman" best.

Too hard to choose! I like them all. But, I voted for "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "Mickey's Christmas Carol". In fact, my son and I watched "The Grinch" yesterday and he had the opportunity of watching the Wizard of Oz too.
Does anyone remember the Californian Raisins Claymation Christmas Special?

Oh yeah, I watched that in the late 80's - my favorite number was their Motown-style rendition of "Rudolph"

I remeber the California Raisins christmas special ...hosted by a duo of some caricature of Siskle & Ebert as lizards or dinosaurs or something

My votes were Charlie Brown and Rudolph, but Year Without a Santa Claus and Rudolph's Shiny New Year are right up there too!
