Sorry---I don't recall what the ratings were. 0to6? 1to5? Well, the 6's I gave are obviously the bands I really like.

3. Weird Al Yankovic 4--on recording merit and effort,not because I totally enjoy all of his work.

5. Marillion --only ever heard one song--and that one I don't remember at the moment 2

7. Martika she only had one song as far as I know in the charts anyhow:2
8. Boy Meets Girl I'm sure if you hummed a few bars I could pick it out...har har 2

12. Alison Moyet 5 How can anyone love the 80s and not remember Alison and YAZ??

14. Go West 4 Maybe it is throw away music, but it has a cute quality. And it isn't all bad.

27. Living in a Box 2 Clever little ditty that self titled tune. Makes you think if they were speaking symbolic or serious about living in a box!
28. ABC 6 I love these songs!
29. Billy Idol 5 I love thse songs too. And gotta say, so does my Mother.
30. A Flock of Seagulls 5 It's not just about "I Ran". I love "Wishing"!

Heh! Forgot to do it myself... my ratings out of 5...
1. Paul Young - 3.2 - Not bad, I prefer his album work on "No Parlez" to the singles he released. Got worse as he went on, however...
2. Dexy's Midnight Runners - 2.9 - Only like one song of theirs, "Geno" and "Jackie Wilson Said" are both no-go areas..
3. Weird Al Yankovic - 5 - How can you NOT like Weird Al?! :)
4. Paula Abdul - 2.3 - Bit cheesy.
5. Marillion - 4.1 - Produced some great stuff during the 80s, unsure otherwise.
6. Howard Jones - 4.4 - Forever underestimated. :(
7. Martika - 4.6 - See above. Could've been internationally huge, sadly wasn't.
8. Boy Meets Girl - 4.1 - heard one single, so I can't really pass much judgement.
9. Scritti Politti - 5.1 - :)
10. Thompson Twins - 4.5 - Gotta love 'em.
11. Level 42 - 4.7 - Another well-underestimated and underrated band.
12. Alison Moyet - 4.0 - Amazing voice.
13. Bruce Hornsby & The Range - 4.4 - All-time greats... and still producing high-selling LPs.
14. Go West - 3.6 - Some of their stuff was good... some not so.
15. Duran Duran - 0.2 - Hate 'em.
16. The Cure - 0.8 - Never saw the attraction.
17. Soft Cell - 1.4 - Ditto.
18. Run DMC - 3.5 - Not a rap fan in the slightest, but a lot of their material was listenable.
19. Depeche Mode - 3.3 - Hmmm, never been too sure. Again, I like some of their material.
20. Queen - 5.0 - Gods.
21. Def Leppard - 3.0 - Haven't heard much DL, to be honest.
22. Nik Kershaw - 4.1 - Howard Jones' rival, but less appealing.
23. Ultravox - 4.0 - I've only ever heard material from the Ure years - what's there is stellar :)
24. Voice of the Beehive - 4.2 - "Don't Call me Baby" is FANTASTIC.
25. Tracy Chapman - 4.4 - Very talented and often overlooked.
26. Kim Wilde - 3.9 - I liked whoever it was produced her records.
27. Living in a Box - 3.9 - Could've been so much bigger. Weren't.
28. ABC - 3.7 - Hmmm.... again, I'm unsure.
29. Billy Idol - 1.4 - No, thanks.
30. A Flock of Seagulls - 2.8 - See above. "Wishing" is quite aggreable, though.
