Leave a tender moment alone-Billy Joel
A nice gentle song - 4
The Whole World-OutKast
Very quirky and sounds quite unnerving. I liked it - 3
Where is the love-Black Eye Peas and Justin Timberlake
A bit whingy for me - 2
West End girls-Pet Shop Boys
A track that will always remind me of the 80s - 4
Itcheycoo park-Small Faces
Archtypical 60s song - 3
Bang a gong-Power Station
Not a bad cover of T-Rex's 'Get it on' (don't know why they called it 'Bang a gong' though) - suffers a little bit of overproduction perhaps? 3
I fought the law-Bobby Fuller Four
A great song. I think
Feel like making love-Bad COmpany
Not bad - 3

Leave A Tender Moment Alone - Billy Joel 3
Okay, if just a bit sickly...
Goodbye Stranger - Supertramp 3
Not one of their better efforts...
West End Girls - Pet Shop Boys 4
Defining 80' song...didn't really care that much for it when first released, but has grown on me steadily...
Itchycoo Park - Small Faces 5
Class piece of commercial-psych with every conceivable studio trick thrown in - superb! Warning: At all costs, stay away from M People's horrible and pointless cover...
Mercedes Benz - Janis Joplin 3
Has acheived 'cult' status, but never really cared for it, or her warbling...
Dirty Water - Standells 5
Brilliant strutting classic...
Friday On My Mind - Easybeats 5
Did make some fine records other than this, but this is nigh on impossible to top...superb!
Bang A Gong - Power Station 3
Not half as good as T Rex's original...Bobby, reason why it was called 'Bang A Gong' was because when T Rex's version was released in the US, there had already been a different hit called 'Get It On'...however, by the time of this cover, I think the title had reverted back to the original...clear as mud?
I Fought The Law - Bobby Fuller Four 4
More 60's brilliance, although The Clash's version does run it close...
Double Shot Of My Baby's Love - Swingin' Medallions 4
And more! Extremely basic bar-room belter with dangerous organ...probably made in 3 minutes!
Stop Stop Stop - The Hollies 3
But not everything in the 60's was great...marvellous group, but this song is lame by their high standards...catchy enough (if you like that sort of thing...)
Feel Like Making Love - Bad Company 4
Great performance...one of their best...
