Can it just be the song titles or does it have to be the artists as well 'cause when it comes to Christmas music, I don't really pay attention to who sings what?

1. 3.25 (don't know the artist but going by the traditional piece)

2. 3.25 (ditto)

3. 3 (" ")

4. 3.25 (heard this)

5. 3 (refer to #1 comment)

6. 1.25 (I find this song so aggravating. Is Madonna trying to be cute!? If so, it's not working!)

7. 3 (refer to #1 comment)

12. 4.25 (love this piece! and yes, i've heard it from Sir Paul McCartney)

13. 3.25

17. 3.75 (haven't heard it from her, but I like the piece)

18. 3.5 (heard this)

19. 3 (refer to #1's comment)

21. 3.25 (heard this)

23. 3.75

Good Lord! Already?

Well, suppose it had to come sometime! I would like to rate more of these, but don't really know the listed versions...

3. Here Comes Santa Claus - Gene Autry 3, perilously veering towards 'twee'...never as big here as in the US, where it's almost a Christmas staple...

4. Happy Xmas (War Is Over) - John & Yoko 4, suprisingly good stuff...may well be re-released here this year due to a threatened cover by the 'Popstar' nonentities...I still have this knocking around on green vinyl somewheres...

9. Step Into Christmas - Elton John 3, somewhat cluttered and over-produced...still makes an appearance here and there over the holidays (oddly over the 'piped music' in DIY stores...don't ask me why!)

11. Peace On Earth/Little Drummer Boy - David Bowie & Bing Crosby 2, possibly one of the most odd pairings ever, and doesn't it show? Very weak effort with (as I remember) Bing looking as bored as hell on the clip...

12. Wonderful Christmastime - Wings 1, just when you thought Macca couldn't plumb the depths...

18. Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree - Brenda Lee 4, Ah! More like it! 'Cutesy' it is, but does have a fair old kick to it...

21. Pretty Paper - Roy Orbison 3, ho-hum affair, but okay...did Willie Nelson write this?

Yes, rather sparse rating there - as I've said, know a lot of the tunes, but not these versions...humbug!

5.  Feliz Navidad--Jose Feliciano

That is a really cool song, it gets stuck in my head way too easily though, a couple months ago I sang it for a whole day and eventually my mom got really mad and she yelled at me.  It probably was annoying, I only know two words of it anyway!    :)

Quoting:
25.  Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)--Cher 1... terrible... U2 did it, Bon Jovi did it... a million other people did it, and they all did it better than Cher... don't listen to it!
End Quote

Mariah Carey also did a version of this song, which grates on my nerves slightly, but I could imagine Cher's version is much worse, even though I've never heard it.
