Subject: Rate The Jobs

How would you rate your job? Is it what you would want to do? Or can you rate these jobs if you like them better?

Doctor
Lawyer
Technician
Engineer
Telemarketers (Try not to think about the telemarketers themselves, this is strictly rating the job.)
Secretary
Insurance
Real Estate
Anywhere in entertainment
Dentist
Teacher (or any faculty member)
Policeman
Fireman
Restaurant Worker
Hotel/Motel Management
Public Service

Well I've only ever worked in one of these jobs but I'll try to rate the rest anyway.  :)

Doctor  5+...if it weren't for these folks our life expectancy wouldn't be what it is today.
Lawyer  4...I've heard some nasty things about lawyers,  but still we need them.
Technician  What kind...lab?  These guys work really hard, too, so I'll give them a 4
Engineer  My dad was a traffic engineer, so I'll give this job a 5!  ;D
Telemarketers (Try not to think about the telemarketers themselves, this is strictly rating the job.)  I hope I don't offend anybody, but I honestly don't this 'job' is necessary.
Secretary  3...I don't have too much to say about secretaries.
Insurance  3...same for this.
Real Estate  Do you mean Mortgage Broker?  Goodness, they take way too long to get back to you with their decisions!  ::) 2
Anywhere in entertainment  I don't envy jobs in this industry...too stressful!  2
Dentist  Ah...the Tooth Doctor!  I give this job a 5!
Teacher (or any faculty member)  5+...this has got to be one of the most important and yet underrated jobs there is.  These people teach our children and help mold them into future leaders!
Policeman  5...very necessary in order to keep our society in check!
Fireman  5...again, a very important job because these people save those who are in danger.
Restaurant Worker  3...been there, done that!  ::)
Hotel/Motel Management  3...I think this would be a pretty boring job.
Public Service  3...don't have much to say about this job.  :-/

Doctor----3.5 (someways it would be great to help people with their health issues, but I bet it can be quite stressful)
Lawyer----1.75 (I'd be afraid I'd end up serving guiltless crooks)
Technician--2 (I like doing hands-on work sometimes but I'm sure it would become tedious after awhile. I like to do a little research sometimes)
Engineer----3.3 (I'm sure some of the work is very interesting but I'd probably be doing quite a bit of computer work  :P)
Telemarketer---can I give a 0? I think I'd rather be unemployed.
Secretary---3.75 (get to mingle with coworkers. Quite a variety of different tasks to perform with some thinking, which I don't mind at all. Usually work in an office environment so free coffee and food)
Insurance---3 (seems a little dry but work is usually in an office environment)
Real Estate---2.25 (doesn't appeal to me. Also seems like a stressful occupation)
Anywhere in entertainment---3 (don't have much of an opinion on this one)
Dentist---2.5 (do not want to end up with people biting on my fingers!)
Teacher---3 (preferably with 2nd to 4th graders---great age)
Police man---1.25 (seems like a rather dangerous occupation)
Fireman---1.5
Restaurant worker---2.5 (I'd probably at least get a discount on the food and beverages, but then again I'd probably get sick of it---lol)
Hotel/Motel management---2.8 (boring)
Public service---3.0 (meet "interesting" customers)
