Fine slab of tunes there, Fred...

Hocus Pocus - Focus 4, criminally overlooked Dutch 'prog' group...and a fine piece of yodelling on here! LP version's a bit long for my liking...

War Pigs - Black Sabbath ?, must admit, I'm not all that hot on Sabbath's output...basically got as far as 'Paranoid' and that was that...will keep an eye out for this...

Roadhouse Blues - Doors 4, the band did lose it somewhat with the previous 'Soft Parade' LP, but were back on form with this earthy blues number...

Wild Thing - Jimi Hendrix ?, not sure if I've partaken in this...I presume it's a cover of the Chip Taylor/Troggs classic, which is the version I was brought up on...I'll have to keep an eye out for this too...

Johnny B Goode - Chuck Berry 4, important contribution to RnR/RnB and deservedly a classic, but not his best performance...can't recall any other versions off the top of my head...

Easy - Commdores 4, nice piece of schmooze from the band which could've quite easily gone the wrong way, but thankfully didn't...

Immigrant Song - Led Zeppelin 5, powerhouse opener from LZ3, quite amazing effort...

Stairway To Heaven - Led Zeppelin 4, meanwhile LZ4 bestowed this upon us...a rightful classic in its own right, it has tended to become tarnished by its reputation and by overplay...it's somewhat heavy going for me, but still good...

Break On Through - Doors 5, cracker of a song...brilliantly tight performance...marvellous!
