Which are not Wings ?  ??? I am prepared to admit that "My Love" may not be - but every other song I have on albums that are credited to Wings !  (He says not at home for 2 days and unable to check my facts !)  :(

Although this debate may head the same way as George Michael/Wham.  That is, in Aus, Careless Whisper is credited to George Michael (solo) but everyone in the US refers to it as a Wham ! song, so I assume it was under different release there.  The same thing may apply here ?

Good question Fuss - it's confused many people over the years...

Basically, anything released prior to late 1971 would have been credited to either 'Paul McCartney' or 'Paul & Linda McCartney', Wings weren't actually formed until that time...the first album bearing that name being 'Wild Life'...

And it don't end there...! Subsequent releases from then to the band's eventual demise in 1980 had permutations of 'Wings' and/or 'Paul McCartney & Wings'...I'm not at all sure if different releases in different territories would have followed each other, but with an artist of McCartney's stature, I would think so...I've put down in abbreviations what was credited to whom as per original releases, hope that helps...

Anyway...

1. Band On The Run - PM&W 5 - all-time classic melding of about 3 different songs, which works handsomely...about his most coherent album release...

2. Helen Wheels - PM&W 4 - intended for BOTR release but didn't quite make it...now on re-issues...

3. Jet - PM&W 5 - stormer...

4. Junior's Farm - PM&W 4 - bizarre lyrics...!

5. Letting Go - W 2 - not strong...

6. Listen To What The Man Said - W 4 - much better stuff from V&M...

7. Live And Let Die - W 3 - all highly dramatic, but spoilt by the 'reggae' break...

8. London Town - W 2 - tune's okay, but sloppy lyrics...

9. Magneto & Titanium Man - W 3 - okay, if a bit so-so...

10. Medicine Jar - not heard this!

11. Mrs Vandebilt - PM&W 4 - more BOTR class...wouldn't have worked on any other album...

12. Mull Of Kintyre - W 1 - unbearable pap!

13. My Love - PM&W 1 - also unbearable...!

14. Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five - PM&W 4 - fine rocker...BOTR again!

15. Rock Show - W 2 - melded out of V&M (#18), it promises much, but doesn't deliver...

16. Silly Love Songs - W 4 - sounds a bit corny in places, but still a fine number...and what's wrong with that??!!

17. Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey - P&LM 4 - another merging of a couple of songs...works well, if a bit cringy in places...

18. Venus & Mars - W 4 - mysterious opening LP track (a re-visit to BOTR?), but 'Rock Show' spoilt it...

19. Venus & Mars (Reprise) - W 4 - I don't suppose I could make mention of the 'Crossroads' theme (off that LP) here? I thought not...!

20. With A Little Luck - W 4 - good, mellow, laid-back number, just a little bit too long...better as a radio edit...

actully, just Uncle Albert/Admiril Hassey isnt Wings...I think it was off of Ram....(and, up until a week ago, I thought Jet was too lol).......anyway...
Careless Whisper came out before George Michael left Wham! but marked the begining of his seperation with the other guy.....I only have heard it creditied to "Wham! featuring George Michaels"....hope that helps
