Amongst others.
Actually I think a lot of sixties songs had two or three versions out at roughly the same time but only one becomes 'the' version.

In some instances, three or four different artists or groups would record one song which would then be played to a specially invited audience...the version that got the best reaction would then become the released version, while the others would be buried away on LPs...
