the same basic rules apply here, but this time the sniffers in question should be familiiar to all of us. (though some definitely fall in the "where are they now?" category...) because they're members, or ex-members, of this very message board! guess who they are and win their undying love forever.

a couple additional rules, which i think are fairly obvious.

number one. NO FAIR GUESSING YOUR OWN NOSE. this goes without saying, and is completely different from the experience of not recognizing your own nose, and then being told later that it's yours. i think this will happen to at least one person on this quiz, and i bet that'll be a very strange experience.

number two, if you recognize your nose here and don't want to be on this quiz, PM me and i'll remove you. but i hope you dont because it's all done in the interest of fun. no making fun of anyone is in any way intended, and i mean that with complete sincerity. in fact, i think in reviewing this thread you'll discover there's some real tasty honkers among our humble crew. 8)

number three, you could go through the "show us what you look like" thread for clues. but that would make you a bad person. so you really shouldn't.

and finallly, there's a little funny business here. so, two irregularities:

1. i posted one nose that isn't technically a MEMBER of inthe00s, but rather his or her "significant other." see if you can spot the one nose that doesn't belong.

2. okay, there isn't a two. other than that one anomaly mentioned above, everything is completely on the up and up. and i swear i'm not lying.

the only thing is, some people tend to be REALLY good at this -- i think they're just gifted at face recognition -- and they can just mop up the whole thing if ya let em. (no, i'm not looking at you, abix! lol) so i'm inclined to leave it at three and then if the guessing dies off, since for most people these seem to be really hard, i'll just drop hints or give the names out of order or something.

lol. you and abix are both obviously really good at this. i posted the girl and boy celebrity quizzes on another board and it's the same thing -- one or two people who post three correct guesses at a time, and other people who are like, "what are those? are those noses?" it's a face recognition thing, i think. some people got it, other people don't.

i don't think i'd be any good at this on the playing side, frankly. i'm terrible with faces. i have to check my notes on some of the guesses cuz i can't even tell by looking whether the guesses are right. and i made the questions!
