I don't know if you're aware of the fact that this is a cover version of a Dutch song. It was recorded by Imca Marina in 1971 and it reached #15 in Dutch Top 40 in 1972. I think Sylvia's version dates from 1973, but I'm not sure (it wasn't a hit over here).
