I set up a new quiz script for amiright, which allows anyone to create a quiz (up to 20 questions). It can be either multiple choice or question/answer style.
To give you an example of a quiz from this board, I converted one of Tanya1976's quizzes.

It's a totally optional thing. If you want, you can even make a completed quiz into a multiple choice quiz (which lets people try it out and get scored). I just saw all the quizzes when I was updating the inthe00s archive, and I thought more people would be interested in them if there was a seperate answer sheet from the questions. Kind of like the old quizzes I have on inthe80s.com
Is there any interest in a True/False quiz option? I'd like feedback on the quiz thing, whether it's easy to use, etc.

That seems like an interesting idea, Chuck. O0 So how do we go about sending it? Should we PM you or something?

Can this new quiz script only be used on amiright? Or can it be used on this board as well? ???

I figured I'd keep it on amiright for now. I could put it here if people would prefer their quizzes to be here instead. I think it'll get viewed more often on amiright though, which is why I put it there.
If I did put it on here, I don't have any plans to integrate it into the board or anything like that (ie. tie your scores to the quizzes). It would be super cool if I did do that, but a lot more work than I could handle at the moment.
As I was posting the link here, I did think of one other thing I might add, which is a hint mode. So if the quiz is really hard, you could turn on the hints if you wanted to see them.

I made it possible for the quiz creator to add hints for their questions. It'll be something that remains hidden on the page until someone clicks "reveal hint" on a question they are stumped by. I just haven't written that part yet.

I added the True/False quiz type now.

I could have put up the 3300 or so discographies I had, but instead went with a smaller collection, so that I could proof check the entries that did go up a little bit. There still may be errors, and I have to leave some albums out that probably should be included, etc.
if there's a favorite performer of yours that you feel should be listed that isn't, let me know.
