Hello, everyone.

I love the guitar and I love a song with a great guitar solo. Some songs are defined by a great guitar solo. Sometimes, the solo is the icing on the cake that make a great song even better. In some cases, the guitar solo is used as mere filler to extend the time of the song to a commercial standard. In any case, the guitar solo is part of music and for better or worse, it's here to stay.

This quiz is the first of many that is about just that. I cut certain clips from many different songs. You hear the solo or part of the solo and you identify the song and the artist. So click on the Audio Clues and enjoy some great, and some not so great guitar. Each clue will be worth 2 points. and I will start of with a limit of 3 clues per person That might change because I really don't know if this quiz will be easy or hard. I play guitar, so this kind of quiz would be a lot easier for me than the lyrics quizzes, but that's just me.

btw: For those who are wondering who I am and where I came from, some of the veteran posters might remember me, but I really don't post a lot and I've been very busy.

One more thing. On this quiz and the ones to follow, I tried to add as much variety as I could, so there is a little bit for everyone here.
